The Problem.
Numed Healthcare is a leading supplier of waiting room and integrated diagnostic solutions to primary care and beyond. A leading supplier of innovative diagnostic medical products, Numed have over 25 years experience in providing healthcare equipment.
Numed wanted to improve the integration between their existing software and the clinical systems used in primary care across the UK.
The Outcome.
A clinical integration software solution, providing a future-proof global platform for clinical devices and systems used in Primary Care. These devices include Spirometers and ECGs, and the systems include major primary care clinical solutions EMIS, SystmOne and Vision Health.
The clinical integration solution improves the user-experience and functionality for users, as well as allowing for the possibility of integrating any future products.
The Process.
A kick-off session was carried out with Numed Healthcare to fully scope the project and define the desired solution and outcomes. This included User Research to define the most optimal user experience.
Using the output from this research, we created a robust user-centred design and delivery plan for the project.
The integration software developed has created significant time saving through using a centralised application.
The partnership between Switchstance and Numed Healthcare has been maintained across many years, and continues to enable further improvement and maintenance of existing products and develop new integrated clinical products.
