Collaboration on the ‘Find the Golden Cocoa Bean’ campaign to boost customer engagement and overall purchases for their Cocoa Butter bodycare range.

The Problem.

Palmer’s wanted to increase overall purchases for their Cocoa Butter bodycare range. 

The brand also wanted to boost engagement with their audience, particularly with a younger demographic. 

The Outcome.

A successful ‘Find the Golden Cocoa Bean’ campaign, that encouraged sales of the specific product range, by offering the chance to win some amazing prizes.

The Process.

We began by scoping the project, including discussing how the backend system would need to manage the competition process and picking of winners. We then also discussed the look and feel of the landing page to ensure a smooth user journey.

We undertook a bespoke design and build for the landing page, ensuring it gave a great user experience and a simple process for entering the competition. 

We introduced a Web Augmented Reality (AR) element to the campaign. A QR code could be scanned, which opened a 3D AR model that directed customers to the landing page to enter the competition. The QR code was used on in-store and also printed in marketing material to help boost engagement in the ‘physical’ world. 

The management of the competition was handled via the backend system, which allowed for receipt validation and also allocating prizes randomly to valid entries.
