The Skills Made Easy (SME) process of using spreadsheets, paper records and following up by telephone proved to be time-consuming and inefficient.
A smart, centralised tracking system was required to replace the current manual process and create optimum workflow.
What we did
We took the process, streamlined it and put it online.
We developed a smart software application to efficiently manage the end-to-end SME process of placing apprentices and upskilling workforces.
The SME tracker facilitated the placement of 1746 apprenticeships over a two year period. It enabled smoother and quicker communication of activity with 40 sub contracted training providers.
The tracker also provides a simple one-step process for publishing new jobs to the SME website. This also helped automate processes, saving time for the admin team.
